On 9 June 2026, H.E. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia, attended the opening ceremony of “A Taste of Bangkok” Thai Culinary Showcase at Palm Court Restaurant, Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta. The event is the first in the “Flavors without Borders” culinary series which brings the chefs of Four Seasons from other countries or cities to a culinary showcase in Jakarta. Chefs from Chao Phraya Terrace Restaurant, Four Seasons Hotel Bangkok, led by Chef Jessada Khruapunt, presented over 12 Thai dishes which will be available at Palm Court Restaurant for the entire month of June 2026.
On this occasion, the Ambassador congratulated Four Seasons Hotel Jakarta and the chefs from Thailand on the launching of the showcase. Thai food is well-renowned across the world, including in Indonesia, due to the promotion of both public and private sectors such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Ministry of Commerce, Ministry of Tourism and Sports, Tourism Authority of Thailand, as well as the restaurant and hotel entrepreneurs.
