Documents originating in Indonesia to be used in Thailand

Documents originating in Thailand are stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand, then the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta, before being submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia. Documents originating in Indonesia are stamped by the Indonesian Notary Public (if needed), then Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Indonesia, then Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia, then the Indonesian Embassy in Bangkok, before being submitted to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand.

In the case that the document originating in Indonesia should be legalized by the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta, submit the following documents in an envelope at the front of the Embassy on Monday – Friday between 09:30-11:30 AM. as follows :

1. Original English language document that has already been stamped by the Ministry of Law and Human Rights of Indonesia and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Indonesia within 6 months before submission to Embassy
2. Photocopy of every pages of the original documents
3. Legalization form
4. Photocopy of applicant’s Passport or ID Card
5. Official Power of Attorney if the applicant does not come him/herself
6. Fee Rp. 210,000 per document

The Royal Thai Embassy can legalize documents that has been stamped by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, the process takes at least 5 working days (excluding holidays).

Documents originating in Thailand to be used in Indonesia

1. Original document that has already been stamped by the Department of Consular Affairs, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Thailand within 6 months before submission to Embassy
2. Photocopy of every pages of the original documents
3. Legalization form
4. Photocopy of applicant’s Passport or ID Card
5. Official Power of Attorney if the applicant does not come him/herself
6. Fee Rp. 210,000 per document

5. Official Power of Attorney if the applicant does not come him/herself
6. Fee Rp. 210,000 per document
