On 26 January 2026, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Indonesia, met with Mr. Bernardino Vega, Vice Chairman for Foreign Affairs of the Indonesian Chamber of Commerce and Industry, together with representatives from the Indonesian Golf Association. Both sides exchanged views on ways to further strengthen economic cooperation between Thai and Indonesian private sectors, including collaboration in the development of the EV downstreaming industry.
On this occasion, Ambassador Prapan also received a briefing on the upcoming 46th Queen Sirikit Cup (the Asia-Pacific Amateur Ladies Golf Team Championship) which will be hosted by the Indonesian Golf Association from 11 – 15 May 2026 at Sentul Highlands Golf Club, West Java, and expressed his readiness to support the said tournament.
