On 4 December 2024, Ambassador Prapan Disyatat paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Bapak Airlangga Hartanto, Coordinating Minister of Economic Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. Both exchanged views on the approaches to increase economic cooperation between Thailand and Indonesia in various issues, such as energy transition and energy security, agriculture, investment in key priority areas and tourism.
On this occasion, the Ambassador conveyed his hope that there would be closer collaboration with Indonesia for the commencement of 75th Anniversary of Diplomatic Relations between Thailand and Indonesia which will be celebrated in 2025.
