On 3 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Indonesia, presided over the reception on the occasion of the Royal Thai Armed Forces Day which was organised by the Office of the Defence and Air Attaché, the Office of Naval Attaché, and the Office of Military Attaché of the Kingdom of Thailand.
There were over 350 participants in attendance, including H.E. Mrs. Phantipha Iamsudha Ekarohit, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN, heads of offices under Team Thailand and their spouses, representatives from the Thai private sector, the Thai community, the Indonesian army, and military attaches in the Republic of Indonesia.
During the event, Ambassador Prapan delivered the opening remarks emphasising the significant role of the Royal Thai Armed Forces in safeguarding peace and security of Thailand and in fostering strong partnerships with various countries to promote regional security, global peace, and stability. In celebration of the 75th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the two countries, the Ambassador expressed satisfaction with the growing defence cooperation between the two countries, exemplified by the exchange of Indonesians army personnel and numerous joint exercises.
