On 9 July 2025, Mrs. Hathaichanok Riddhagni Frumau, Deputy Chief of Mission/Minister, met with H.E. Ms. Agustini Rahayu, Deputy Minister for Media Creativity of the Ministry of Creative Economy of the Republic of Indonesia at the Royal Thai Embassy. The Deputy Minister expressed appreciation for Thailand’s creative economy sector, noting its great potential and rapid development in recent years. The sector has achieved significant success both domestically and internationally. In the Indonesian market, Thai films, series, and T-Pop music have become increasingly popular. She expressed a keen interest in promoting cooperation in the creative economy, particularly in the film industry with Thailand. The Deputy Chief of Mission remarked that Thailand’s success stems from the integration and collaboration among relevant stakeholders, both public and private sectors and reiterated that Thailand is also ready to enhance cooperation with Indonesia.
