On 12 December 2025, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia, presided over a merit-making ceremony to mark the 50th day following the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother. The ceremony was attended by 47 participants, including heads of offices under Team Thailand, officials and staff of the Embassy and Team Thailand, as well as, representatives from the Thai private sector and the Thai community. The ceremony comprised the offering of monks’ robes, Sanghadana, and alms food to 10 Buddhist monks from Buddhist temples in Jakarta and West Java, namely (1) Buddha Metta Arama Temple (2) Vipassana Temple (3) Pondok Meditasi Asri Jakasampurna Temple and (4) Mahavirya Arama Templeand a 93-second meditation session in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s boundless benevolence and lifelong devotion.
