On 30 September 2019, H.E. Mr. Songphol Sukchan, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia, gave an overview of the Indonesian economy to a delegation of SME start-ups from Thailand. The group consisted of entrepreneurs with online businesses in the areas of travel, research and analysis, and QR coding. The Ambassador discussed the potential for doing business in Indonesia, the New Economic Vision of President Jokowi, as well as the digital economy sector of Indonesia. During this visit to Indonesia, the delegation is scheduled to meet with some of Indonesia’s unicorns such as GoJek, Tokopedia, and Traveloka to discuss ways for strengthening relations and enhancing cooperation among one another.
