On 19 September 2019, H.E. Mr. Songphol Sukchan, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia visited Charoen Pokaphand Indonesia (CPI) chicken hatchery in Manado. The hatchery was established in 2001 and exports approximately 200,000 chicks a week. CPI has over 44 chicken hatcheries throughout Indonesia. The company has been operating in Indonesia for almost 50 years now and sells various products such as eggs, chicken, chicks, animal feed, ready to eat meals, and beverages.
