On 1 September 2023, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Pahala Nugraha Mansury, Vice Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia, upon the latter’s assumption of duty. Both sides exchanged views on bilateral cooperation in the fields of economic and investment, security, education, cultural exchanges and people to people contact. On this occasion, both sides also discussed ways to strengthen closer relations in the near future, including through the convening of the 10th Joint Commission Meeting (JC), exchange of high level visits, as well as preparation of activities paving ways towards the commemoration of the 75th Anniversary of Thailand – Indonesia Diplomatic Relations in 2025.
