On 9 November 2023, Ambassador Prapan Disyatat extended a warm welcome to the delegation from the Office of the Ombudsman of Thailand, led by Mr. Somsak Suwansujarit, Chief Ombudsman of Thailand, and Mr. Songsak Saicheua, Ombudsman of Thailand, during their visit to Indonesia for the SEAOF Meeting and SEAOF+ Meeting 2023. On this occasion, the two sides held a meeting, which brought together representatives from Team Thailand Agencies, Thai companies, and the Association of Thai Students in Indonesia, to discuss the promotion of well-being and fair treatment of the Thai community in Indonesia. The meeting also explored collaborative opportunities between the Office of the Ombudsman of Thailand and its Indonesian counterpart to resolve issues and contribute to the betterment of the Thai community in Indonesia within their existing bilateral and regional mechanisms.
