On 13 September 2023, Ambassador Prapan Disyatat paid a visit to the SEZ Nongsa Digital Park. The Ambassador, along with Mr. Martono Anggusti, Honorary Consul of Thailand for Medan, and Embassy team, had an insightful meeting with Mr. Sastra Wijaya, Assistant General Manager/Head of Operation of Nongsa Digital Park, who was accompanied by SEZ Nongsa team.
The Embassy team had a tour around the Nongsa Digital Park and took note of their prominent facilities from animation production to the academic collaboration with internationally renowned companies such as Apple, IBM and RedHat. As Indonesia is accelerating their digital economy, Nongsa Digital Park has become a strategic economic potential for the country.
