On 15 September 2023, the Royal Thai Embassy’s team led by Mrs. Sirichada Thongtan, Minister Counsellor of the Embassy, along with Ms. Pamila Sirichuchnin (First Secretary), paid a visit to BP Batam Hospital – a prominent hospital in Batam which is located in Sekupang Medical Area. The Embassy team held a meeting with Dr. Afdhalun Hakim, Director of BP Batam Hospital, accompanied by the deputy directors and other staff.

The hospital is already connected with prospective partners, both domestic and foreign, and is ready for further cooperation and investment in the development of medical tourism in Sekupang.
