Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia Presides over the Opening Ceremony of the Business Delegation for Education Services in Indonesia 2026

On 18 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Indonesia, presided over the opening ceremony of the Business Delegation for Education Services in Indonesia 2026, organised by the Thai Trade Center, Jakarta. The event brought together representatives from 15 Thai educational institutions, as well as Indonesian educational institutions and relevant organisations, with the aim of promoting cooperation and networking between Thai and Indonesian educational institutions.

On this occasion, the Ambassador highlighted the close and longstanding relations between Thailand and Indonesia, particularly in the field of education, which serves as an important foundation for people-to-people relations between the two countries. He also emphasised the growing interest and potential for expanding cooperation between educational institutions of the two countries in various areas.

The Ambassador also visited the booths of all 15 participating Thai educational institutions to learn more about their programmes and fields of study, educational opportunities for interested Indonesian students, as well as opportunities for expanding cooperation with Indonesian educational institutions.

The Business Delegation for Education Services in Indonesia 2026 is being held from 18–20 August 2026, featuring key activities including the Business Matching Session, Study in Thailand Education Expo, and Exclusive University Visit. The programme aims to promote cooperation and networking between Thai and Indonesian educational institutions, as well as to promote educational programmes and opportunities in Thailand to Indonesian students and others interested in pursuing their studies in Thailand
