On 22 April 2026, Mrs. Hathaichanok Riddhagni Frumau, Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission of the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta, attended the inauguration ceremony of the Secretariat Office of the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Transboundary Haze Pollution Control at the Ministry of Environment of Indonesia. The ceremony was presided over by Dr. Hanif Faisol Nurofiq, Minister of Environment of Indonesia. Representatives from ASEAN embassies, including Vietnam, Singapore, and Malaysia, were also in attendance.
On this occasion, the Minister and Deputy Chief of Mission expressed her congratulations on the official inauguration of the ASEAN Co-ordinating Centre for Transboundary Haze Pollution Control (ACC THPC) in Jakarta and reaffirmed Thailand’s strong belief that the ACC THPC will play a significant role in advancing the implementation of the ASEAN Agreement on Transboundary Haze Pollution, as well as in supporting the collective efforts of ASEAN Member States to achieve shared environmental goals in a more timely, efficient, and effective manner.
