On 25 September 2026, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia, attended the handover ceremony of a relief contribution from PTT Exploration and Production Indonesia (PTTEP Indonesia) to the Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) to support relief efforts following the earthquake in East Nusa Tenggara Province. On this occasion, Ambassador Prapan, together with Mr. Grinchai Hattagam, General Manager of PTTEP Indonesia, met with Mr. Abdurrahman Mohammad Fachir, Secretary General of the Indonesian Red Cross. Ambassador Prapan expressed his sympathy for those affected by the earthquake and reaffirmed Thailand’s readiness to support Indonesia during this difficult time. He also received a briefing on the Indonesian Red Cross’s humanitarian operations to assist communities affected by recent disasters, including the floods in Sumatra and wildfires in Sumatra, Kalimantan, Sulawesi, and Papua Province, drought and the volcanic eruption.
