On 26 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Indonesia, together with Mrs. Hathaichanok Riddhagni Frumau Minister/Deputy Chief of Mission, attended Amazing Thailand and Pattaya Roadshow to Indonesia 2026 at Hotel Indonesia Kempinski, Jakarta.
Ambassador Prapan delivered a keynote address congratulating the Tourism Authority of Thailand and the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization in organising the business-matching event, which plays an important role in further strengthening tourism promotion between Thailand and Indonesia and raising awareness among the Indonesian public of Chonburi Province, particularly Pattaya City, as an attractive tourism destination. On this occasion, the Ambassador also met with more than 60 Thai businesses, while also sharing perspectives and providing recommendations on entering and expanding into the Indonesian market.
The “Amazing Thailand and Pattaya Roadshow to Indonesia 2026” was organized by the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT), in collaboration with the Chonburi Provincial Administrative Organization, to provide tourism operators from Pattaya and other parts of Thailand with opportunities to build networks and establish business connections with Indonesian tour operators, thereby contributing to closer tourism cooperation between the two countries. Thailand remains one of the popular destinations among Indonesian tourists, with more than 787,000 Indonesians visiting Thailand in 2025.
