On 11 August 2026, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to the Republic of Indonesia, attended the Sharing the Dream Scholarship award ceremony at the Ministry of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia, Jakarta.
The ceremony was hosted by Siam Cement Group (SCG), one of Thailand’s leading companies known for its diverse product range, including cement and green solutions and its long-standing presence in Indonesia, to present scholarships to 412 Indonesian students (400 highschool students and 12 undergraduate students).
On this occasion, Ambassador Prapan congratulated the scholarship recipients and commended SCG‘s unwavering commitment to education, particularly through the Sharing the Dream scholarship, which has significantly further strengthened people-to-people ties between the two countries.
Ambassador Prapan also joined H.E. Dr. Fajar Riza Ul Haq, Vice Minister of Primary and Secondary Education of the Republic of Indonesia and senior executives and representatives from SCG and Ancora Foundation in presenting scholarship certificates to the recipients. They also visited the scholarship participants’ booths and the display of innovative and creative ideas from the students.
SCG Sharing the Dream scholarship programme was established in 2012 to support youth education in Indonesia. Since its inception, it has benefited over 4,800 high school students and university students.
