On 12 March 2025, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of Thailand to Indonesia, paid a courtesy call on H.E. Mr. Sugiono, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia. On the 75th Anniversary of Thailand – Indonesia Diplomatic Relations in 2025, both sides reemphasized the commitment to strengthen the bilateral relations between Thailand and Indonesia, especially through exchanging high-level visits, and holding the 9th Joint- Commission between the two countries which will be hosted by Thailand. They also discussed ways to enhance cooperation in the field of agriculture, creative economy and tourism, as well as through the joint efforts to combat transnational crime.
