On 8 June 2025, Mrs. Hathaichanok Riddhagni Frumau, Deputy Chief of Mission/Minister, attended the opening of Sanuk Mak Thai Space at Harmoni Exchange Mall, Jakarta. The office was established by Sanuk Mak – a group of Indonesians with a deep passion for Thailand. Sanuk Mak, founded in 2023, organizes Thailand-related activities, including trips to Thailand and cultural events.
On this occasion, Mrs. Hathaichanok delivered the remarks congratulating Sanuk Mak on their achievements and commending them as one of the Embassy’s key Friends of Thailand
for their valuable support in advancing the Embassy’s mission to promote Thai culture to the Indonesian public through collaborative cultural activities such as Songkran and Loy Krathong festivals.
Sanuk Mak Thai Space serves as a venue for Sanuk Mak to organise Thailand-related events such as Thai language classes and cultural workshops. It also aims to be a gathering place for Indonesian who share an interest in Thailand to connect, exchange ideas, and express their admiration for Thai culture.
