Launch of Online E-Visa Application Platform
and Termination of Visa Application in Person

Effective from 26 November 2024, 10.00 hrs. (UTC+7), a foreign national who is currently in Indonesia and wishes to apply for a Thai visa must apply and submit his/her application and supporting documents, and pay the application fee through the new online e-Visa platform at https://www.thaievisa.go.th/. It is no longer required for the applicant to submit his/her passport and original supporting documents in person at the Royal Thai Embassy in Jakarta.
After the e-Visa application has been approved, a confirmation email will be sent to the applicant. The applicant is kindly requested to print a copy of the confirmation email to present to the airline at the port of departure and to Thai immigration officials in Thailand.
The Embassy will continue to accept in-person visa applications until 21 November 2024.
