On 31 January 2026, H.E. Mr. Prapan Disyatat, Ambassador of Thailand to Jakarta, presided over the merit-making ceremony in commemoration of the 100th day of the passing of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit, The Queen Mother, held at Jakarta Dhammacakka Chaiya Temple, Jakarta. The ceremony was attended by H.E. Ms. Prinat Apirat, Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN in Jakarta, heads of offices of Team Thailand, officials and staff of the Royal Thai Embassy, as well as representatives of the Thai private sector and members of the Thai and Indonesian communities, totalling around 80 participants.
On this occasion, the Ambassador, together with representatives from the public and private sectors, offered robes, Sanghadana, and alms food for 10 Buddhist monks. This was followed by a 93-second meditation session in remembrance of Her Majesty Queen Sirikit The Queen Mother’s boundless benevolence and lifelong devotion.
In addition, the Ambassador, together with the Ambassador and Permanent Representative of Thailand to ASEAN and the heads of offices of Team Thailand, jointly organized an activity entitled “Uniting the Power of Loyalty”, donating Thai food and beverages to residents of communities living in the vicinity of Jakarta Dhammacakka Chaiya Temple, as an expression of loyalty and social contribution.
